The funnest ways to stay on the cultural waka these holidays

Classes are finishing, workplace shut-downs within sight, and responsibility lists are shrinking—it’s nearly holiday time! But how do we keep a toe in on the ol’ cultural connection haerenga/journey while we’re at it? Particularly if we don’t have a marae or connected whānau environment to go to?

After years of dedicated Ngāti Nerd efforts, we can definitively say carting heavy grammar and historical pukapuka/books to the beach does NOT mean you will open them e hoa mā.
